March 23, 2020, Governor Whitmer Signs “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order

Effective immediately, all City of Eaton Rapids Municipal Buildings will be closed to the public and all public meetings/programs will be canceled.

The City will continue to provide essential public services, such as police, fire, electric, water, and sewer. Services such as utility bill payment, permit applications, and program registration can all be completed through the City’s website, by mail, or by utilizing the overnight box located in front of City Hall.

Administrative and emergency management staff will continue to actively monitor, plan and communicate about this situation in the upcoming days and weeks. We want the Eaton Rapids community to know that we make these decisions with the health, safety, and welfare of the community in mind.
