The Term of Office for the ZBA is Three Years.

 

 

The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is an advisory board and exercises three basic roles. These include interpreting the zoning ordinance, deciding appeals from Administrative decisions, and granting zoning variances (use and nonuse). For more information about the ZBA, see Act 110 of 2006 and Chapter 25 of the City Code.

If you’re interested in becoming a member, please fill out the application and turn it in to the City Clerk.

Minutes are available online after their approval by the ZBA, which takes place at the subsequent meeting.

UPDATE: The current power outage is an issue through Consumers Energy and not the City of Eaton Rapids. For an accurate estimated time of restoration, please contact Consumers Energy.

UPDATE: Consumers is switching power and should have it restored soon.

UPDATE: Consumers has located the problem. It was more extensive than originally anticipated however, power is expected to be restored within another hour.

Power Outage 10/21/2019: The main power feed to our west substation is down causing a large city wide power outage. Consumers is anticipating that the issue will be resolved in one hour.
