The City of Eaton Rapids encourages public participation through various citizen commissions and boards. The commissions established by the City Council include, among others, the Advisory Parks Board, Board of Review, Construction Board, Downtown Development Authoirty/TIF Authority (DDA), Local Development Finance Authority (LDFA) Board, Library Board, Local Officers Compensation Commission (LOCC), Planning Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA).
The purpose of each commission and board is to provide guidance and resolve issues affecting their area of responsibility. City Staff provides support to the commissions and boards in carrying out their assigned responsibilities.
