Board and Commission Opportunities

If you are interested in serving the City of Eaton Rapids on a Board or Commission, please fill out the application below, and turn it in to the City Clerk. You are welcome to include a resume if you like. It is recommended you familize yourself with the relevant ordinances, bylaws, and member responsibilities of the position you are interested in. Attending at least one meeting in advance of applying is also encouraged.

All applications will be kept on file, and as vacancies occur, the Mayor will make a recommendation to Council to fill the vacancy.

UPDATE: Power has been successfully restored to the area. Thank you for your understanding while we worked through the outage.Earlier this morning, we experienced a fire on a utility pole on the south side of town, near the intersection of S. Main St. and Kinneville/Spicerville. The result of the fire has been an interruption of electrical service to the businesses located in the area, including the traffic signal at the above mentioned intersection. Crews are on scene and are working diligently to restore services as safely and as quickly as possible with an expected restoration time of 6:00 pm 1/9/2022.
